Rising to challenges and changing times.

ISEC was founded in Colorado by three partners in 1967, led by the entrepreneurial spirit of Lewis Anderson, President.  Starting in the school business, the company was named Intermountain School Equipment Company. Furniture and athletic equipment was the beginning of single source packaging.  The 1970's brought expansion into the healthcare and laboratory industry, as well as opening an office in Phoenix.  Federal government was booming with new Veterans Hospitals and Corps of Engineers Medical/Dental facilities.  The company expanded operations in the 1980’s to Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle. A stock program was started to allow the employees to gain ownership in the company.  1990 marked the change to the current company name of ISEC, with offices opening up in Baltimore and Sacramento.  Airports and ballparks launched the company into mega, high profile woodwork projects. The new millennium brought a new focus on becoming a learning organization driven by our Core Values. Lewis retired in 2006 and the company is currently owned by over (300) stockholders and over a thousand dedicated and talented employees who are always looking Beyond Boundaries to reach new heights.
