This 36,000 square foot building contains 23,000 square feet of laboratory space. It was not a typical laboratory project as it involved metal fabrications, finish carpentry, maple finish casework, equipment, and controlled environment rooms. The steel frame of the overhead service carrier tube was required to be welded into place. For the cubicle frame assemblies, ISEC coordinated the activities of seven different vendors. Plastic laminate for the countertops was used in the office areas and was a special challenge as radiused countertops were required at several elevations.
