The largest laboratory contract in ISEC’s history involved 21 floors of laboratories and a state-of-the-art vivarium. More than 100 semi trucks of products required tight coordination with other trades and an ISEC installation crew of 20 carpenters on a schedule of 21 months. Located on the new Fitzsimons campus, the facility was designed to provide flexible laboratory space to meet the needs of multiple researchers and to last over 100 years. Over 19,000 shelves, thousands of mobile cabinets, tables, and tech desks were fabricated in advance and stored to meet the construction schedule. ISEC also provided fume hoods, sterilizers, glassware washers, vivarium equipment, glass handrail, and building specialties. This award-winning facility was a major accomplishment for the future of scientific advancement and discoveries.
