The Vail Behavioral Health facility in Edwards, Colorado marks a significant step forward in expanding mental health care in the region. Spanning approximately 50,000 square feet, the inpatient facility introduces twenty-eight much-needed patient beds, reinforcing the critical role behavioral health centers play in furthering community well-being. Facilities like Vail Behavioral Health integrate key design elements—warm color palettes, rounded edges, and natural elements such as increased window exposure and greenery to create a calming, therapeutic atmosphere.
ISEC was a key contributor in shaping the interior environment through our expertise in millwork and specialty finishes. Our contributions included casework, surrounds, and wall paneling, demonstrating how thoughtful craftsmanship can transform traditionally sterile healthcare settings into inviting, supportive spaces. By incorporating wood paneling, rounded solid surface surrounds, and custom banquette seating, ISEC brought warmth and comfort to an environment designed for healing.
The collaboration between architects, designers, and skilled millwork specialists remains essential in redefining spaces that promote healing, wellness, and care. Projects like Vail Behavioral Health, emphasize the vital role of intentional design in behavioral health environments.
