Johns Hopkins University 555 Penn

ISEC won the 2024 Washington Building Congress Craftsmanship Award for outstanding Architectural Millwork for our work on Johns Hopkins University 555 Penn. Located just two blocks from the U.S. Capitol, the newly renovated 555 Penn building is set to become a cornerstone of civic leadership education. Johns Hopkins University took on this ambitious 10-story renovation to create a space dedicated to training future leaders in public health and governance—all within the walls of a historic museum building.

To bring this vision to life, ISEC provided expert craftsmanship in architectural millwork and ornamental metalwork. Our scope of work included custom wood paneling, ceiling installations, desks, and quartz countertops, along with intricate metal wall panels and stair enclosures.

With an eye for quality and precision, ISEC helped create an environment that will ensure that 555 Penn will serve as a hub for education and leadership for years to come.
