The NIH Building 10 E Wing has undergone a 16-story transformation, revitalizing its laboratory spaces to support advanced medical research. Originally built as part of the NIH Clinical Center, the structure first opened in 1953 and has long served as a hub for scientific discovery. As research demands evolved, the need for a complete renovation became clear.
ISEC played a role in modernizing the facility by installing custom plastic paneling, wall protection with guards and crash rails, and outfitting labs with fume hoods, metal casework, sterilizers, and glassware washers. Each component was carefully selected to meet the requirements of a high-performance research environment.
This project highlights our strength in managing complex and highly specialized laboratory environments, delivering tailored solutions that enhance functionality and safety for innovative research.
